Our parent company, SSB Solutions' extensive nationwide relationships, experience and track record in the healthcare industry developed over the past 20 years enables us to accurately analyze a healthcare project’s plans, win the trust and support of senior management (including being able to explain how the NMTC program works and options for structuring a NMTC subsidized transaction) and otherwise provide strategic financial advisory counsel. We can then provide follow-up healthcare industry expertise including financial, operational, strategic, customer/patient interface and personnel management advisory services and support to help ensure projects move forward according to plan.
HCDG is targeting a national service area based on the long-term track record of SSB in providing community-based health care services solutions to over 150 communities in 49 states for 20 years. Over this period, SSBs clients have included a significant number of projects in underserved/low income areas (urban and rural). HCDG and its affiliates will provide to health care industry borrowers financial solutions with flexible, below market terms. Additionally, working with SSB, HCDG can offer clients value-added services on top of arranging NMTC-leveraged financing that include community-focused financial planning, project development, and management consulting.
HEALTHCARE COMMUNITY FINANCIAL SERVICES – We offer assistance to providers of community/regional health care services including physicians/clinics, hospitals/hospital systems, academic medical centers, health care technology development, and innovative health care delivery programs for low income and underserved populations. These services include managing the entire New Markets Tax Credit process -- from creating the initial NMTC Intake Form (describing positive and desirable community impact after determining initial eligibility) to managing the necessary legal, accounting, lender/underwriter and tax credit investor parties through the close of the transaction. Additional service areas include organizational debt and capital resource allocation and restructuring; venture capital/private equity investments in promising health care technologies and direct or indirect investment, capital formation, fee forgiveness, and philanthropic contributions.
HEALTHCARE COMMUNITY PROJECT DEVELOPMENT SERVICES – These services include developing physician clinics and hospitals that improve and provide access to patient care that often is unavailable for illnesses that disproportionally impact low-income patient populations. Such illnesses include diabetes, hypertension; heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the frail elderly, and women’s health (especially breast cancer programs). There will also be an implementation of "next generation” centers of excellence, research institutes.
HEALTHCARE COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES – The creation of program-specific clinical service delivery entities (e.g. rural outreach, home health care, telemedicine, etc.). All projects focus on matching a “clinical model” with a “business model” to provide sustainability for the organization, thus optimizing ongoing capital formation, revenue flow and recurring investment, which are important for clinical programs in low-income areas.
